Cascade Bicycle Club, the nation’s largest statewide bicycling nonprofit, serves bike riders of all ages, races, genders, income levels, and abilities throughout the state of Washington.

Tacoma Washington Bicycle Club can trace its routes back to 1888 for men who rode Penny Farthing Bicycles. Today they promote bicycling for recreation, health and transportation. The club organizing social and bicycle activities. While promoting bicycling, they educate the public on bicycle issues and safety.

Enjoy a beautiful 21 mile Rail Trail the travels from East Puyallup to Buckley. The trail passes along fields of sunflowers, thru beautiful countryside, and along the Carbon River. On a clear day you’ll have a picturesque view of Mt. Rainier. Along the trail you’ll pass wild blackberry bushes, local coffee stops with accommodations for cyclists, and a playground for the kids.

In 1979, the Club established the Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic (now known as Seattle to Portland and STP). This event is a fundraiser for Cascade Bicycle Club's programming in advocacy, education, and community rides. It is a fully supported ride for approximately 6000 riders this year.
